Telecommuting RFP Coordinator
This is a part-time position which can be performed from your own home, apartment, office, or dormatory; on average requires 1-2 hours per day.

AAS is a software development company. Recently, we have supplemented our workload, keeping our programming staff busy with short-term projects from sites like eLance, Guru, ITMoonlighter, Sologig, and Freelance Work Exchange. We have found that the key to obtaining such projects is to submit a proposal to almost every project for which one of our staff members qualify.

We are looking for someone familiar with freelance-style project sites: locating, evaluating, and responding to project requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs). The recurring assignment will be to monitor the sites for new projects which fit our qualifications and notify us; in most cases, the coordinator will submit "proposals" on our behalf. These proposals are usually just a couple of paragraphs expressing interest in the project and providing basic information concerning qualifications.

This can be either an hourly rate or commission-based assignment; however, for this to remain a viable arrangement we must (of course) make substantially more than the amount we pay our RFP Coordinator. Therefore, preference will naturally be given to someone who has successfully obtained projects from similar sites.
